Uruguay, 1997.
I am a creator, performer, and cultural producer, with a degree in Dance (FARTES-UDELAR).
For some time now, I have been deepening, in a self-taught way, my knowledge and tools in graphic design and digital environments, recently carrying out my first works in this field.
I am part of Colectivo Basura —a space for research and experimentation around multimedia arts— and a member of the organizing team of EMERGEN, a dance encounter platform.
My artistic practice explores the possible intersections between different languages and materialities. Through art, I find ways to translate worlds, questions, and thoughts; to process and manifest what I feel/think. I am interested in art as a way of being/being-with the world, of creating connections, of blurring the imaginary boundaries imposed on things in order to experiment with possible combinations, transformations, and fantasies.
Specifically, in recent years, my works have been marked by glitch, short-circuit, accumulation, overflow, waste, distortion, and sound.
I consider myself a curious and creative person, motivated by the desire to learn new things through practice. I enjoy working in collaborative, creative, and transdisciplinary projects.
This site is both an approach and an archive of my ways of making and thinking-feeling. It is also the result of a persistent desire to bring my professional search closer to my personal one.
